Meet
the Teacher
Hi! My name is Mrs. Pattengill and I am going to
be your 3rd grade teacher.
This will be my 7th year teaching 3rd grade at
Anderson Elementary. I love 3rd
grade and all the learning, exploring, and fun things we get to do.
I have a Master’s
Degree in Educational Theory and Practice and I love to teach. I can’t wait to help you become a better
reader. We also learn a lot of new
things in 3rd grade like cursive handwriting, multiplication,
division, and much more!
I live in Bella
Vista, Arkansas in a little house in the woods.
It’s fantastic! I have been
married for over 11 years to my wonderful husband, Willie. He is an engineer. We have two children; 10 year old, Cooper and
21 month old, Finnley. But guess
what…we’re adding another member to the family at the end of January. That’s right!
You might notice Mrs. Pattengill’s belly getting bigger and bigger
throughout the year because I’m pregnant!
But don’t worry…I’ll only be gone for 6 weeks after the baby is born and
I promise I will leave you in good hands and will be back before you know
it! We also have two big dogs. Our black lab is 6 years old and named Wesson
and our tan lab is 13 years old and named Chester.
This summer I did
lots of fun stuff. I love to go swimming
at the pool, creek, or even the lake. My
family and I traveled to Branson. We
went to White Water, Silver Dollar City, Bass Pro Shops, shopping, go carts,
bumper boats, and swam at the pool and lake.
It was a blast! I actually grew
up in Branson so I enjoyed Branson all the time when I was a child but it was
special to be able to watch my own children enjoy it.
I can’t wait to
spend the next year learning and growing with you!
